Breaking News : Cure for Type II Diabetes Almost Found

New research suggests weight-loss surgery might be better than drugs at controlling a type of diabetes. A Cleveland Clinic study found that people who had the surgery were much more likely after a year to have control of type 2 diabetes. Those who didn’t have the surgery in the study got an advanced form of a non-insulin medication treatment.

One of the scientists said improvement in blood sugar readings occurred within “days and hours” of the surgery. He noted that many of the weight loss surgery patients left the hospital with normal blood sugar readings. Results of the study are published in the “New England Journal of Medicine.” Read More »

Lamar Odom Taking Time Off To Be With Father

Lamar Odom is stepping away from the basketball court to deal with a serious family matter. E! News says the Dallas Mavericks star was absent from Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers because his father, Joe Odom, is dealing with an illness. Lamar and his wife, Khloe Kardashian Odom, flew to Los Angeles earlier this week to be with Joe. Diddy Hospitalized With Extreme Migraine

 Sean “Diddy” Combs is back at home recovering after suffering an extreme migraine following Sunday night’s Grammy Awards. TMZ says the hip-hop superstar was throwing a post-Grammy party at the Playboy Mansion when he started having a headache. Diddy left the party and went home, but his friends reportedly became concerned and decided to take him to the emergency room at the UCLA Medical Center. Diddy was treated for his migraine and is said to be feeling much better.

Tracy Morgan Falls Unconscious, Rushed To Hospital

Tracy Morgan fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. According to sources, the actor was at the Sundance Film Festival when the incident occurred. He was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah.

After being escorted out of the building (they thought he was drunk), he fell unconscious. However, in an update, TMZ reported that Amy Roberts, a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center, has confirmed that no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy after initial checkup. The actor’s representative said in a statement that he was seeking medical attention after experiencing exhaustion and altitude. The representative also added that any report of Tracy consuming alcohol is false.

Rihanna Posts Sexy Photos from Hawaii {Photos} : Performing At Grammys

While most people prefer loose tracksuit pants and T-shirts for gym  exercise, Rihanna appears to have different choices.  She recently shared a couple of pictures of herself in the gym in Hawaii where she’s on vacation.

The pictures show that she was only wearing a tiny white bikini posing on a cross trainer.  She wore triangle two-piece with a pair of huge sunglasses, something you’d expect on the beaches.  She tweeted this picture of herself saying “Ha ha, come tap this @Khloekardashian!!!

She also tweeted a couple of other shots that show her messing around with her friends in the hot bikini. When fans asked on twitter how she managed to look that hot, she tweeted, “Angles/Lighting/Photoshop “
