Sip & Read 9/22 5-7pm

Please join Attorney/Author Tiffany Simmons for her special Sip & Read from the 1st series of Trap Novels “The Plug’s Lawyer,” and you will be in for a treat! Joining her will be Model/Author Karras Jordan reading excepts from his two books “Mind of a Maniac” and “My Beautiful Ugly Life” Reloaded.

From 5-7pm at Tees & Quotes located 244 Peters Street you can sip on courtesy cocktails from Courvoisier and listen to these two beautiful minds and hear how they actually got their books published. If you have ever wanted to publish a book and didn’t know how to go about getting started I’m sure these two can give you some helpful tips.

Tiffany Simmons is an accomplished attorney who just completed her 4th novel “The Plug’s Lawyer.” She has won every case that’s gone to trial. Simmons is from Michigan and she is a real stand up type of girl/young lady. Come out to meet her and see for yourself.

Karras Jordan has been seen in music videos, and is a three time Cover Model for Zane’s Chronicles books. He is also an aspiring artist and actor. ATLANTA (Sept. 20, 2017) – McDonald’s has named Atlanta as the host city for the 2018 McDonald’s All American Games. The 2018 Games will be played on March 28, 2018 at Philips Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks. The city previously hosted the 1983 and 1992 Boys Games.

ATLANTA (Sept. 19, 2017) – One of the most beloved groups in R&B history, XSCAPE, have announced their first-ever headlining tour, THE GREAT XSCAPE TOUR. Dick Gregory, the pioneering satirist who transformed cool humor into a barbed force for civil rights in the 1960s, then veered from his craft for a life devoted to protest and fasting in the name of assorted social causes, health regimens and conspiracy theories, died Saturday in Washington. Nigerian born singer/songwriter MARENIKAE hosted a listening session for her upcoming EP Ajebutter. Introducing a new genre of music coined “afromerge” MARENIKAE’s sound seeks to fuse her native African culture with her current American home. Atlanta music industry tastemakers were invited to a cultural experience complete with African dance, music and an authentic Nigerian meal complete with a signature alcoholic beverage. Guests were treated to an advance version of the EP and asked to give feedback on favorite song and potential follow-up single. Upon leaving guests were given gift bags with African soap, incense and sweet treats along with background information on each item.  Aside from media and several music executives, MARENIKAE welcomed Wondaland artist Roman GianArthur and Bando Jonez.
