Amel Larrieux Takes Over Pure Heat 2011

Singer/Songwriter Amel Larrieux performed at Club 595 North in support of breast cancer awareness and Pure Heat, Atlanta’s Black Pride Weekend. The event, in conjunction with Vision Community Foundation Inc., was in commemoration of those who have passed due to breast cancer.

Amel, originally slated to perform 3 songs, was cajoled back onto stage to perform a fourth. She performed ‘No One,’ ‘Fa Real’ and ‘Magic’ all in acoustic.  She also sang the Groove Theory classic throwback ‘Tell Me.’

The Young Money femcee is nominated for Best Female Video for “Super Bass” and for Best Collaboration for “Moment 4 Life” featuring Drake.

Looks like Katt Williams is at it again! After being kicked out of his own show (see here), he got into a fight at someone else’s show!

At a recent concert in Phoenix, AZ  in which rapper Young Jeezy headlined, Katt Williams stole the show. We’ve got clips of a massive brawl and that show Katt with his shirt off, but still rocking a spiked necklace and hat.

The highlight is that during the fight, Jeezy keeps performing his song, then tells the people fighting to go outside and then asks for the lights to be turned back down so he can continue performing!

It seems Katt Williams got into a brawl with a local performer. We’re not sure exactly what went down, but we’ll keep you up when we get more details.

Toya and Memphitz Wright showed up at the Bronner Bros. Hair Show this weekend representing Ampro. They stopped by the Ampro booth, with one of the largest crowds during the event and created a moblike atmosphere. One lady yelled, “Damn, who’s here? Lady Gaga?”

Toya recently was placed on the NY Times best seller list. Big ups!

Toya and Memphitz also made their way to the official Bronner Bros. After Party.

And please pray for Memphitz and his family, I’m sure you heard he was in jail tonight. Sometimes people forget things when they go through security. It could happen to you too, stop all the hating.
