Beyonce‘s mother Tina Knowles recently stopped by Access Hollywood to discuss her new Fall fashion line for Miss Tina and House Of Dereon. Of course she spoke about her seven-month-old granddaughter Blue Ivy. Tina revealed that Beyonce won’t stop spoiling her daughter.
“Blue Ivy is wonderful, I just saw her yesterday, she’s starting to scoot to crawl so that’s exciting,” a proud Tina gushed. When asked if Beyonce is spoiling her first child, Tina replied: “Of course she is, we all are.”
Tina was then asked who is spoiling her granddaughter the most, and while most would think it’s her father Jay-Z, Tina claims it’s actually her daughter who can’t put her foot down.
“No, her Mom. I put the phone in front of [Blue], and I was like [to Beyonce], ‘Let her crawl’, and she starts looking up at her Mom and her Mom carries it to her.”
“[I tell Beyonce] like you gotta man up and get a little tougher.”

In other Dereon news, Beyonce has unveiled her new Fall/Winter 2012 House of Deréon ad campaign starring herself. Ms. B is looking fierce and fabulous in the photographs, which were shot by fashion photographer Jean-Baptise Mondino.

Last night as promised, Nicki Minaj put on a FREE concert at Roseland Ballroom in NYC for her diehard barbz. Nearly 3,000 barbz showed up, packed out the venue, and sung every song word-for-work with Nicki.

About a month ago, Nicki promised to make up not performing at Summer Jam to her fans, and after watching the performance, she definitely did. Just two short days after ending her highly successful, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ tour and ordered to take two weeks of vocal rest by her doctor, Nicki and her closest celeb  friends shut Roseland Ballroom down. Special guests included Camron, Foxy Brown, Drake, Mack Maine, and Lil’ Wayne.

Before bringing Foxy to the Stage, Nicki said she wanted to introduce “the female rapper who influenced me the most.” Foxy was in tears after receiving so much love from Nicki’s fans. She was in tears and did not want to leave the stage. Nicki said Foxy was her greatest rap inspiration and thanked her for all that she does and for influencing her career. Foxy made it loud and clear that she is coming back and her sister Nicki Minaj is making sure of it!

Drake came out and performed ‘Up all Night’ and ‘Make Me Proud’ with Nicki and stayed until Weezy and Mack Maine came out.

Of course, Nicki brought out Lil’ Wayne to shut the she down YMCMB style. He performed, ‘The Motto’ and ‘No Excuses’

Lady Gaga Covers September Vougue Issue

Lady Gaga has recently secured her spot on the cover of Vogue for the second time. This magazine will hit newstands on August 19.

During the interview with the magazine Gaga speaks on many subjects but some topics that stand out would be her new fragrance “Fame”,  highlights from the “Born this Way Ball”, and the type of music she is intending to put out there. This is Lady Gaga, after all, who manages to be both out of this world and yet, strangely, simultaneously down-to-earth, as Jonathan Van Meter’s profile reveals.

Gaga gave very specific requests regarding her new fragrance and insisted that everything be to her standards. This is what she had to say:

“The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you.”

Sources from BET are reporting that Nicki Minaj is making good on her promise to perform a free show for her NYC fans after abruptly pulling out of Hot 97 Summer recently. Nicki and all of YMCMB, staged a sudden and dramatic boycott of Summer Jam this year under the direction of Lil Wayne after Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg made dismissive comments about the “Starships” singer and suggested that her music wasn’t “real hip hop.” READ MORE
