New Rythm & Blues Native Long Beach, California artist Ria Rosae landed herself a artist development through Smokey Thomas aka “Smokey” who is the cousin of Charlie Wilson and Ronnie Wilson of “The Gap Band”. Under the tutelage of “The Gap Band for over 15 years Smokey learned everything there was to know through them. In 2014 Smokey decidedl to open up his own artist development company called “Smoke Bomb Entertainment making him the CEO of his company. Smokey discovered breakout artist Ria Rosae.

The cast of WE tv’s “Growing Up Hip Hop” celebrated the Season 3 premiere of their hit series Thursday night (July 20) at the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington, D.C. Legendary artists Percy “Master P” MillerSandra “Pepa” Denton, and Damon Dash participated in a panel discussion about the evolution of hip hop with series stars and executive producers Romeo Miller and Angela Simmons, as well as additional cast members Vanessa SimmonsDamon “Boogie” DashKristinia DeBargeBriana Latriseand Egypt Criss. The discussion was moderated by Dwandalyn Reece, Curator of Music and Performing Arts (NMAAHC) and Timothy Anne Burnside, Curatorial Museum Specialist (NMAAHC).

V-103 & WAOK Presented the 14th Annual Car & Bike Show Yesterday July 15th, 2017 from at the Georgia World Congress Center featuring Wale, LeCrae, Joe Gifted, Sevyn Streeter, Dae Dae , Trillville, Scrappy,  Crime Mob, Jhonni Blaze, Jaquees and headlined with YO GOTTI !

The 14th Annual  V103 car and bike show was definitely lit !  “Snap” era pioneers were in full force last night with Trillville, Scrappy, Fabo and not to mention the Shawty Lo tribute (rip) to Atlanta’s own ! Fans were lit to watch all the dope performances by Wale, Yo Gotti, Joe Gifted, Jaquees, KCamp, and Lecrae just to name a few… This event was brought to you by the sponsors (Fresh Empire, Metro Pcs, Dtlr, Peach State Health Plan, and Test Atlanta. Atlanta, GA. 21 June 2017 This past Sunday, Tip “T.I.” Harris closed out his 39-city Hustle Gang Tour in his hometown of Atlanta during the annual Birthday Bash weekend. Held at the new Coca Cola Roxy Theatre, supporters from all over the country united for one night of music with the King of the South. This star-studded show headlined Tip alongside of his roster of Hustle Gang talent – Trae Tha Truth, B.o.B., Young Dro, Yung Booke, Tokyo Jetz, RaRa, Translee, London Jae, 5ive Mics and GFM Bryyce. Energy was already at an all-time high when Tip surprised the crowd with special guest performances by hip-hop star and ATL legend, 2Chainz, who performed hits like “Good Drank” and “Watch Out”. Tip also brought out breakthrough rap artist Kap G, who performed his smash hit “Girlfriend”. Tip closed the show out sincerely thanking the crowd for their countless years of support and bringing out on stage a final special guest attendee, Dave Chappelle, who made the fans go wild.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing the #AllEyezOnMe Atlanta press conference with cast members Demetrius Shipp Jr, Kat Graham, Creator & Producer L.T. Hutton.  The event was held at DJ Drama’s Mean Street where media got a chance to have an intimate chat with the cast. So happy that this movie is finally hitting the big screen.
