Dorian J was born in Buffalo, New York, to Rhonda Henderson who was a singer then and now is a pastor and author and Stevie Jordan who is known as 4x Grammy Award Winner Hitman Stevie J. With both parents being musically inclined it is no surprise that Dorian J. known to the world as Stevie J’s son would continue in his parents musical endeavors.

I had the opportunity to capture images of one of the hottest and newest barbershops to grace the ATL powered by the homies Kela and Keisha Taylor Owens owners of the Universal Salon Suites and Marke’ Enterprises as they unveiled, Style Kings’ Men Grooming Lounge. The event was dope powered by the homie Jada Kemp and celebrity hosted by Mushiya Tshikuka & Mama Wyatt.

Atlanta’s Musical Royalty The Dungeon Family were definitely in the house as they headlined for One Music Fest 2016 at Aarons Lakewood Amphitheater. Fans from all across the city of Atlanta and beyond came out to enjoy the dope music of Atl’s greatest stars.

The legendary show united Andre 3000, Big Boi, Ceelo Green, Big Gipp, Backbone, Public Announcement, Big Rube, Cool Breeze, Killer Mike, Bone Crusher, Sleepy Brown, Rico Wade, Organized Noize, Witchdoctor, Lil Will, TI and Kilo Ali. As a real ATLIEN it was a dream come true to see my favorite stars all on one stage and playing some of the best music to ever grace the airwaves and what helped put my city: ATLANTA on the map.

The Bad Boy Reunion made it’s way to the ATL but before the epic concert took place the ladies of Bad Boy had an empowering luncheon. I was blessed with the opportunity to attend and glean tons of tips from the leading ladies of Bad Boy Records including the lovely Faith Evans, Kelly Price, trio Total, Nicci Gilbert, and KeKe Wyatt just to name a few. The event powered by Organic Root Stimulator was truly something special.

dsc_5562Supermodel Eva Pigford might be adding first lady to her extensive resume thanks to her fiancé Atlanta politician Micheal Sterling announcing he’s running for Mayor of the City of Atlanta. The couple was spotted at Atlanta’s Suite Lounge hosting a day party powered by Rockstar Promotions and Traxx Girls. The event was an opportunity for Micheal Sterling to connect with his constituents in the ATL and have a little fun.

Victim or Victor? Power of Awareness…

There is so much power in awareness! As a social worker one of the most exciting moments is to witness a person that has been struggling, finally become carefree. To be able to fight back against the things you wrestle with is epic. When under attack you must fight back! But often people don’t seek the guidance and support of a lifecoach like myself, to help them. When stressed and under pressure, it’s a lifecoach that can help bring out the innate power that we all possess to ultimately become victorious in this life.   READ MORE

The 2016 Pure Heat Community Festival was amazing as The Real ATL Pride took over Piedmont Park and hosted a day full of music, fellowship, and fun. I had the opportunity to capture images of the day’s activities which included a mini concert by K. Michelle, Tiffany Evans, JhonnI Blaze and many more. The Real Atlanta Pride is so much more than an opportunity to party it’s about giving back to the community and developing life long relationships.
