Jeezy Signs Newest Artist Of CTE: Scrilla

Last night Jeezy and the entire CTE family did it big in the ATL. The homies had Club Opera packed wall from wall for the highly anticipated release of the revealing of the newest artist of Corporate Thug Entertainment. This is the biggest crowd I have ever seen, it felt like the old streets of ATL where people use to just walk down the thick streets of Peachtree, Jeezy himself bring out aside from the fans. Over 300 people were CTE related from friends, family & groupies flooded the building. Who knew Jeezy had another artist he wanted to add to the roster just a month ago he signed the highly respected rapper Freddie Gibbs. But hey I guess you can’t sleep on talent no matter what!

This was definitely the perfect way to introduce to the world who the next member that will become apart of a landmark brand. It was dope the way the current CTE artist such as 2Eleven, Slick Pulla, Boo Rossini, Freddie Gibbs welcomed the newest member. They all mesh together like a real/true family.

Recently, I had the opportunity to chill with, in my opinion, “The Secret Ingredient” that’s missing in Hip Hop today. Rap artist, B $tacks, was parlaying at pioneer strip club Magic City in Atlanta over the weekend.  He and his entourage had a great time as they continuously made it rain for the ladies in anticipation of his scheduled performance. I’m not just boosting you up because I know the lil homie, but he is honestly one of the hottest artists I have heard in a long time. Besides his lyrical skills and his ability to write bangers in little to know time, his recent performance at Magic City showed me what a superstar is made of.  I kept hearing about the lil homie on mixtapes and seeing him pop up on various sites (worldstarhip,, and in Hip Hop Weekly Magazine) I knew that there definitely was a star in the making who was about to set the streets on fire.  As soon as Magic City’s DJ X-Rated played B Stacks “No Comprende” the crowd went into a frenzy. Check out B Stacks bio and his behind the scenes of his recent video shoot of “No Comprende” which was produced by platinum producer Sonny Digital who was also responsible for YC’s Racks on Racks.

Humble beings have always been within B ~ $tacks, who is without a doubt a “Product of the South”. Born Sandy Ledbetter in 1990, on the South side of Durham, North Carolina, this 20 year old multi-talented MC, songwriter, and producer has learned all about hard work at a very early age and due to his hard work he is currently an artist under Faculty Entertainment, as well as president of Faculty Entertainment. The goals of this MC, in becoming a pioneer within the music industry, is rapidly becoming of reach due to his drive and management team.

With the mindset of this teen talent there is nothing that can stand in the way of achieving success. Southern style MC, B~ Stack$, has been associated with Blood Raw (C.T.E/U.S.D.A), DJ Folk, and The Cartel, what separates this MC is his youthfulness, talent, and humbleness. From production to the fans this southern native gives 100% in whatever he does. Dedication and hard work is what the rap game needs. This MC has all the ingredients to being successful in this industry.

Get ready for the summer because whether you like it or not, the world is about to get to know B~$tacks for the hardworking, determined, talented artist he is who possesses an aura that magnetizes you to him. Shouts out to the big homie Dennis Byron who is Executive Vice President of Artist Development, Marketing and Promotions for YBE/Faculty Entertainment who introduced me to B Stacks. Beyonce And Her Fans Name New Album “4”

Beyonce is keeping things simple when it comes to naming her upcoming fourth album. It’s called “4,” and she’s thanking fans for the inspiration. Beyonce tells “Billboard” that everywhere she turned, people were calling the untitled album “4,” so she chose to abandon her previous concept and go with the number because she felt it would be “really nice” to let the fans pick the title. The singer says the number four holds a significant place in her life. It’s her birthday, her mother’s birthday, several of her friends’ birthdays, and also the anniversary of her wedding to hip-hop mogul Jay Z.

Beyonce released “Run The World (Girls)” last month as the first single from “4.” There is still no definitive release date for the album.

11 year old Lil Niqo was discovered by Kevin Wales, C.E.O/Founder of WorldWide Entertainment who in turn, formed a joint venture with Bu Thiam, VP of DefJam Records & C.E.O. of BuVision. Lil Niqo is the youngest hiphop aritst to be signed to WorldWide Ent./BuVision/Def Jam Records! I was actually impressed that a kid could spit lyrics like this. Wacka Flaka better watch out Lil Niqo is coming for him. LOL What ya’ll think?

Season 2 of the popular ATL LIVE ON THE PARK showcase series, hosted by Kenny Burns and founded by Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols, kicked off last night with R&B veterans Jagged Edge headlining an unforgettable show.

As usual, industry VIPs were in the building, including Ludacris, Kelly Price, RL, Jazze Pha, Chaka Zulu, Bryan Michael Cox, Devyne Stephens, Latavia Roberson, Mychael Knight, Takeo Spikes, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Peter Thomas and Lawrence Washington and more.
