According to HipHopDX, Drake has been selected by Aaliyah’s estate to executive produce the late singer’s next album. It’s also reported that Drake will sample the deceased singer on his new single, and will premiere the record this weekend at Toronto’s OVO Fest.

Lil Twist has yet to release his debut, but he says Hollywood is already knocking on his door. The Young Money rapper tells Billboard he’s “got a few scripts on the table,” including a voice-over project he’s particularly interested in. Chris Brown is on his way back to the big screen next year. Brown will be starring in the upcoming 3D dance movie “Battle of The Year,†which focuses on an American B-Boy crew competing at the Battle of the Year International Championships in France.

The new Lifetime Steel Magnolias movie is an upcoming American comedy-drama television film directed by Kenny Leon that will premiere on the Lifetime Network. The new film stars a all-Black cast and was filmed in the ATL, the cast includes Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Condola Rashad, Adepero Oduye with Phylicia RashÄd and Alfre Woodard, P.S. ladies Lance Gross is also in the film. In the new first looks of the movie trailer fans will be pleased to see it feels very much like the first movie.
“Think Like a Man,†the film that was based on the #1 New York Times Best Seller written by Steve Harvey, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man†will be getting a sequel.
Despite the rush to green light the Think Like a Man sequel, a firm release date has yet to be announced.
