It’s no secret Chef Mali Hunter has the most infamous #FamousDinners at the legendary Tree Sound Recording Studios. Typically these dinners are private invites for artists who have invested their time & recording energy to perfecting their crafts in one of Tree Sound private studio rooms. The dinners serve as congratulatory salutations to celebrate the artists hard work & let the media and taste makers of Atlanta experience the finished product.

Quincy Jones wanted to make sure his artist Lee England Jr was presented to the world in the best light possible. So its not a surprise that he would tap Mali Hunter on the shoulder to set up an amazing dinner with some pretty amazing people in Atlanta! Lee England Jr not only introduced us to his incredible Soul Orchestra but he brought along a friend, the infamous Ashanti the mad violinist. What an incredible evening!

To top things off Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall showed up (along with his wife Natalie Hall) and made a special announcement. Not only did he present Mali Hunter, Groove Chambers and Paul Diaz and the Tree Sound Recording Studios with a proclamation from the city of Atlanta because of all their philanthropic efforts but Monday July 18th was declared National Tree Sound Recording Studio Day!

Courvoisier cocktails permeated throughout the room. Coronas flowed galore for the beer lovers and of course you can’t eat Mali’s #Famousdinners without topping off your dishes with tastely “Cholula Hot Sauce.” You never know who you are going to see at Chef Mali’s Famous Dinners so it’s best to just be prepared. You may be able to network with people you would never have met anywhere else and the relationships you form at Tree Sound studios could be 100% life changing.

Special thanks to Terri J Vaughn, Angie Stone, Jasmine Guy, Shanti Das, Kwanza Hall, Loraine Smith, Jonell PR, Ed Lover, Paras Griffin, Romello, Daniel Watson the Tree Sound staff and a host of others that always support #ChefMali

I had the opportunity to attend the private screening of WeTV’s second season of their hot show “Cutting It In The ATL” that’s all about hair, business, and the beautiful boss chicks who dominate the beauty scene in Hotlanta.

Season Two is EXPLOSIVE with our cast of favorite beauticians, stylists, and boss chicks Maja Sly, Dedra Allen, Beautii J, LaKenya Morris, and Mushiya Tshikuk with new editions Pat Thompson, Evan Edwards, and Stephen Webster. We see the evolution of our girls who have used their platforms to expand their brands to include expansion of salons, the elimination of goals they once sought out, bringing about awareness and advocating for beauty professionals, and entertaining us viewers in the process.

As a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I have a genuine love for the beautiful ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha. When my bruhs approached me to be a media sponsor for our Phirst Phamily Boule Party I was more than happy to use my talent of photography to capture the evening’s party but to bask in the PINK AND GREEN sunshine that is the mere essence of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Apryl Jones and Omarion Are Done????

o2

I honestly can’t believe that my favorite celebrity couple is no more. According, to tweets on Apryl Jones page and a letter written on Omarion’s Instagram page the two have called it quits! I don’t know about you all, but if you are real and you know real love and good, genuine people when you see them then you feel my confusion with this particular break up.

I just don’t understand how they are not together anymore, I’m in denial for them, it’s actually kind of crazy. Apryl had mentioned something on her snap earlier about growing apart from one another but that still seems so random to me as I’m sure it does to you all.

o4

They were not just cute in pictures but I really even felt like from their personalities that they were definitely going to be together forever. They were even talking about marriage not to long ago, they just had precious A’mei and now this?

o1

I am really heartbroken because I’m never the type to sit here and be miserable over people’s happiness hoping for their downfall. No, I was really rooting for them and all their personal decisions that they made as a couple!

o5

I know that they are on good terms and that they did not have a bad fall out (which I expected from those two) but I want them to be together. I wonder if it was the distance?

o3

But hey, I guess if they knew themselves and were respectful and mature enough to say they weren’t happy together anymore than how can I be mad at that? I love honest and open relationships, good luck to the beautiful souls and friendship that they both have.

o

I truly, truly love them both!
