Coming off a heartfelt performance last night at the Apollo Theater for the 11th Annual ‘Great Night in Harlem’ event benefitting the Jazz Foundation with fellow artist Bono, Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Macy Gray stepped out in New York City today and greeted fans from a Gray Line New York bus.
Macy recently released her seventh album, “Covered” which tackles material largely drawn from indie rock songs from the last decade by bands Radiohead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metallica and more. Macy is also starring in an upcoming film by Director Lee Daniels (Director of the award-winning film ‘Precious’) for his forthcoming film ‘The Paperboy’ which also stars John Cusack, Nicole Kidman, Zac Effron and Matthew McConaughey.

Willow Smith enjoys a day out with her mom Jada on Wednesday (May 16) in Cannes, France.
Willow was in Paris with her family, where dad Will Smith promoted his latest movie, Men in Black 3.
Willow and Jada recently participated in a video discussion titled “Red Table Talks” along with Jada‘s mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones.
“For people to be able to sit down together and have a conversation, that’s the power of love. Love is what sometimes holds us and binds us when we’re not so happy,” Jada shared. “My belief is that communication is the best way to create strong relationships.

Last nights Stars, designers, models and actors took on the red carpet at the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” themed Met Gala. The Costume Institute Gala, known as the Met Ball which has also been nicknamed the “Oscars of the East Coast”, is an annual ball that celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s (The Met) fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute.
Only the top elite, or people who have thousands to waste go.. The red carpet evening, gives all the top celebrities the chance to get world wide press and the event is described as the fashion industry’s “Night of Nights”.

Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks from Atlanta Housewives showed support for “Wish Upon A Hero Foundation” by donating in a big way . The red carpet affair was hosted by Urban Active Fitness Center in Buckhead. Talking With Tami reports, “two little ladies who benefited from the funds raised were Ms.Addison and Brianna, that touched my heart. Addison received a donation from Phaedra so that she would have enough gas money to get back and forth to the hospital while Sheree donated funds to Brianna so that she could have safe toys to play with.”
The “Be A Hero” event took place all around the country today with donations pouring in,parties and more. Thousands of “cycling heroes” at over 300 locations nationwide will raise money for the foundation to grant wishes to Americans in need.
