Rookies Vinny Curry and Georgia Bulldog Brandon Boykin Arrive At MiniCamp “Philadelphia Eagles”

For Vinny Curry this was more than a typical “Mother’s Day” weekend. It was the first of many firsts to come. It was his second day of his first time at Mini Camp with the Philadelphia Eagles.  This 2nd round Draft NFL pick also experienced his first mother’s day without his HERO “his mom ” (whom unfortunately he lost last year to cancer). It was his first mother’s day with a new beginning, New Team, Coach and  New teammate Fourth-round pick Brandon Boykin, from Fayetteville, GA.  (cornerback and return specialist, who already has his sights set on punt- and kick-return duties). Boykin, who left Georgia as the school’s all-time leader in kick return yards, is banking on these spring camps to bridge the gap.

More about VInny (Curry was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year after registering 11 sacks, seven forced fumbles and 22 tackles for a loss as a senior. He earned first-team All-Conference USA honors as a junior in 2010, leading all defensive linemen in the nation with 94 total tackles and ranked fifth in the country with 12 sacks.) Jay-Z Vows Never Use The ‘B’ Word : Jay-Z & Beyonce Shooting Music Video In Space

 Jay-Z took a vow to never use the word “b***h” in his music any more since the birth of his newborn daughter Blue Ivy.

He was using the word in most of his music and has even referred to wife Beyonce as a “b***h.”

Now after watching his first child enter the world, Jay seems to have a different outlook on life and says he will never use the word again. Ya right!!!

Aretha Franklin Engaged to William Wilkerson

Aretha Franklin reportedly got engaged to her longtime friend William Wilkerson recently. The two are expected to get married in the  summer at Miami Beach.

According to sources, the Grammy-winning singer gave a statement to The Associated Press.
The Queen of Soul also told that she’d like to have a ceremony with a reception on a private yacht.

The 69-year-old singer was married twice before. She’s reportedly considering Vera Wang, Valentino and Donna Karan to design her wedding dress.

She also joked with the press saying, “No, I’m not pregnant.”
