MAJOR congrats are in order for Idris Elba for his history making double win at the 2016 SAG Awards. While on stage, he fired off a shot at the Oscars over the lack of diversity in this year’s nominee pool. Celebrate with Idris inside…

Unlike this year’s #OscarsSoWhite, the 2016 SAG Awards celebrated diversity awarding a plethora of awards to people of color. And Idris Elba nabbed TWO!

The sexy British star won Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role for the Netflix film Beasts of No Nation and Best Male Actor in a Television Movie or Mini Series for BBC America’s “Luther.”

Idris made history as the first male to take home two SAG awards in one night. Not only that, he’s the first black person to do so. Nice!

The “Luther” star brought his daughter Isan Elba along as his date who sat next to him in the audience. During one of his acceptance speeches, the doting dad gave a sweet shoutout to both of his children, including his son Winston Elba.

When he walked out on stage to introduce his nominated film Beast Of No Nation with his kiddie co-star Abraham Attah, he said, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to diverse TV,” praising the SAG Awards for recognizing talent no matter the color of an actor’s skin. The crowd burst into laughter and applauded him after his statement. Loves it!

Peep his acceptance speeches below:

Congrats Idris!

Who doesn’t miss Trey Songz adding his R&B touches to a hiphop track?

Trey Songz released his most recent album, Trigga, in 2014, then re-loaded it with “Slow Motion” and more for a re-release this past April, but his music output isn’t slowing up in the slightest. Trey dropped a holiday mixtape, To Whom It May Concern, featuring Dave East, and production from guys like Illangelo and DJ Mustard. Today, he released a video for his lengthy collaboration with the Harlem upstart–signed to Nas‘ Mass Appeal Records just under 2 years ago–which also features DJ Drama and MikexAngelo, “Everybody Say.”

The Jon J directed video begins with DJ Drama giving a few words, saying “Y’all be all on that he say she say shit, man. Yeah, we hear you talking.” Ladies favorite, Dave East drops his fire bars as Trigga flaunts his gold grills, stacks of cash and women.

Anthony Hamilton and his band, known as the Hamiltones, can pretty much take any song and turn it into something you’d hear at church on a Sunday morning. And that was evident with his version of “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”

Hamilton has posted his newest video on his Facebook page, and what you witness is a bunch of men simply ironing in the background and getting ready for a show—when they decide to put a little soul into Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”

Guess it’s not a “real” celebrity feud unless Wendy Williams throws herself and thrashes into the mix, and man … things sure are getting out of control with this Kanye/Kim/Amber/Wiz business.

In her daily “Hot Topics” segment, Williams tackled Kanye’s inflammatory tweets by slamming his wife, Kim Kardashian. Oh, yes, she did:

“The idea [Kanye’s] talking about Amber being a stripper, [he’s] not saying about anything she hasn’t admitted herself. As a matter of fact, Kanye, you’re the one who gave this stripper who come-up. And, by the way, we recall meeting your wife on her back. … I’m embarrassed for Kim Kardashian. I’m not even going to call you West because clearly that is not a real marriage. Any time a man is fighting with another man and bringing up his ex, like why is Kanye still talking about Amber, what kind of respect, or lack there of, does he have about his new son, Saint, and his daughter? I’m embarrassed for Kim but, Kim, I think you’re more into the image of what it looks like to be married to what you think is a man than anything else. I’m embarrassed for you. This is shameful.”

We’re pretty shocked, for sure. For Wendy to go so hard up against Kim and Kanye, that takes some serious guts, because she knows that the blowback from the hardcore Kardashian fans that watch both her show and “KUWTK,” is gonna come, and it’s gonna come hard.

We’re not on Kim and Kanye’s side at all — we’d consider ourselves to be more Team Amber and Wiz for sure — but calling out Kim for her past exploits is no different than Kanye calling out Amber for hers.

Careful, Wendy: we’re not saying certain people just shouldn’t be taken down a few notches, ’cause come on … look at who we’re dealing with here … but what we are saying is be careful how you word things — because hypocrisy is an easy sea in which to tread with regard to these people and their personal lives.

This is what Wendy had to say.
