Rihanna has proven time and time again, that she really is not the one to be played and tested and in her recent video, her money paid the price her mouth said it could bring!
The video starts off with the Bajan beauty scantily clad in a transparent teal lingerie leaning against sliding doors with a view looking out at a bay. It’s clear that she had something or someone on her mind. She was “lost in cognition!”
She takes us back in her memory through her ego busting lyrics, about taking out a lover that was nothing more than a “past time” who had caught way too much feelings, a lot more than the sultry singer cared for at the moment.
With lyrics like,
“You was good on the low for a faded fuck, on some faded love
Shit, what the fuck you complaining for?
Feeling jaded huh?
Used to trip off that shit I was kickin’ to you,
Had some fun on the run though, I give it to you ,But baby, don’t get it twisted
You was just another nigga on the hit list
Tryna fix your inner issues with a bad bitch
Didn’t they tell you that I was a savage
Fuck your white horse and a carriage
Bet you never could imagine”
As she enters the club walking towards her intended target with her “bestie (her gun) on her side,” Riri interrupts her lover’s personal lap dance and fires off two shots as he stares back at her not surprised at all that she was savage enough to “take him out” before falling from the lounge chair he was sitting in. Im guessing he was one of those men that believed that “if you love it let it kill you!” 4/20 needed Riri and as always she delivered!
