Bobby V was on set shooting a video for “Rock Body”, a song from his up coming release Dusk Til Dawn (in stores October 16). Yesterday I went to kick it with one of the biggest new Bay Area artist. Â From the streets of Oakland CA, the homie Kafani (twitter @Kafani) hit ATL to shoot a video for his new single “Knock Em Down” featuring Gucci Mane and Bobby V. Â Just in case you trying to remember who Kafani is, Â he did the hit ‘Fast like a Nas Car” back in ’07.
I took a couple of photos at the video shoot for ‘Knock Em Down’ Â and you can check them out below. Â Kafani is signed to Big Cat Records/Ice King Music and he’s killing the independent game right now! Â Gucci Mane and Bobby V were on the set and the video will be released at the end of the month along with Kafani’s new mixtape.

Kandi, Toya and Monnyetta Shaw pose inside the second location of the clothing boutique “Tags”. Over the weekend Kandi and best friend Peaches had a lot to celebrate. The duo held an event for  the Grand Opening of their Buckhead loction and it brought out a rack of friends and fans!
Derek J (celebrity hairstylist), ….. Among other attendees included two “Real Housewives of Atlanta†model Cynthia Bailey (and her husband Peter), and new cast member as well as fellow model Kenya Moore. I couldn’t hear what they were saying in the end of the party, but there appeared to be no gratuitous cat fighting.

T.I. and Tiny Hosts Exclusive ‘A Family Hustle’ Premiere with Celeb Friends
The King and Queen/Power Couple, T.I. and Tiny hosted a private screening of ‘A Family Hustle’ and all of their celebrity friends came out to support the show.
The event was a family affair the couple’s family was in full attendance including, their children King, Major, Zonnique (OMG Girlz) Messiyah, Deyjah & Domani along with TI’s sister Precious, niece Kamaya were there to join the festivities as well as other family friends.
Of course Toya, Reginae Carter, Kandi, Riley Burruss, Rasheeda, celebrity make-up artist Latasha Wright, model/actress Sheneka Adams, Tiny’s friend/hair stylist Shekinah, and more were all in attendance.
In episodes one and two you got to see the Harris’ Family’s camping trip and behind the scenes of Atlanta’s Birthday Bash concert.

In the coming episodes, Tiny will be introducing viewers  to one of her new business ventures, ‘Tiny Tonight.’ Tiny Tonight will be a late night talk show airing on VH1.
“I’ve been wanting to do a late night talk show with my homegirls, my friends, for a while now,†Tiny explains. “So I’ve got my new show, it’s called Tiny Tonight, it’s gonna be…the first late night talk show on VH1.†We’ll keep you posted on a premiere date, but we certainly can’t wait for this!
‘Tiny Tonight’ is the late night show that Tiny pitched to Vh1 producers in season one of ‘Family Hustle.’ The show will feature Tiny and her girls talking about hot topics. She describes it as a younger generation of ‘The View.’ Stay tuned for more!

It’s been a busy holiday for Atlanta. On Saturday, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Joseline Hernandez enjoyed the Pride Weekend, hosting the Traxx Girls day party.
Held at Club Primal, Joseline rocked a sexy fitted pink dress and posed w/ club goers.
The popular 7 Annual Wet T-Shirt contest, brings out a ton of people yearly (last year Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada) and brought out even more people this year.
Anissa (formerly of the Real World) and Suger (one of the south’s most popular exotic dancers) were in attendance, along with over 2,000 women.

To celebrate the kick-off of the 7th Annual LudaDay Weekend festivities, Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, Ebony Son Management, and DTP Records hosted an invite-only dinner for 50 close friends and business associates to express appreciation for their support of the Atlanta community.
The dinner, held at Frank Ski’s Restaurant & Lounge, featured a cocktail hour on the patio where guests were treated to complimentary Conjure Cognac signature cocktails, Hublot watch displays, a Soul by Ludacris photo backdrop, and plush lounge seating. I have to say it was a great night and I got the chance to meet for the first time KeKe Palmer  I am a big fan, been watching her movies for years … and I have to say she was such a nice young women and warmhearted…

Celebrity Manager Chris Lightly Found Dead
Chris Lightly was found Dead this morning in New York City. Chris was the manager for artists like 50 Cent, Diddy, Ja Rule, and Mariah Carey. Reports are now saying that we wasn’t killed by someone else but instead the gunshot wound to the head was a self-inflicted wound. This is what TMZ reports:
