Yesterday, Trey Songz released ‘Chapter V’ the singer’s fifth studio album and it has already made an impact on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. “Chapter V” has delivered three hits thus far: “Dive In,” “Heart Attack,” and “2 Reasons,” featuring T.I. Trey released his fourth single, “Hail Mary,” featuring Lil’ Wayne and Young Jeezy.
In a recent interview with BillBoard, Trey Songz spoke about his Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy 4th single, “Hail Mary,” which coincidentally was the last track to make the cut. “I was in the studio and the album was supposed to be turned in already and I was just in there doing extra songs for mixtape records, etc. And the record was so crazy I said, ‘Let me call Wayne, see if he like it. Maybe he can use it for his project.’” he said. “He put a verse on it. He said he loved it. It was crazy. He sent me the verse back. I started to like the record a little more. And I said, ‘Let me call my homie Jeezy and see if he like it.’ He got on it and the record turned out to be great. We actually held the album up probably a week and a half for that record.”

For my birthday {Aug 18} Queen B decided to drop her latest video “I was here.” For the lucky audience members with tickets who got the chance to check out the live performance after watching the video below, I wish I could say was , I was there”. The video was shot in front of a live audience at the United Nations General Assembly Hall.

Last night everybody and their mama came out to support my big sister’s birthday extravaganza. The party went down at Atlanta’s Opera Nightclub, the biggest spot to party on a Thursday night. MzShyneka.com is also one of the top radio personalities in ATL, so it was only right to make sure she shut the city down for her and my birthday. She invited all of VH1′s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s cast out to party the night away.
The Georgia Peach, Rasheeda, was in the building to support, along side her husband (rock) Kirk, who was making sure the evening went down smoothly.
Rasheeda was joined by the lovely Sheneka Adams, who had to be in the building to support our girl.
The south’s youngest king, Scrappy, was also in the building. BTW, Scrappy recently shot 4 new video’s and will be making a very major announcement soon. LOL

Come back queen Brandy released the official music video for her hit song “Put It Down” featuring Chris Brown. The video was directed by Hype Williams, and was shot in LA last month.
“Put It Down” is off Brandy’s sixth studio album, “Two Eleven” set to be released October 16, 2012. It is the first studio album she will release since 2008′s “Human”. Check out the video below:

The rumored couple partied amongst Nicci Gilbert, Monifah, Devyne Stephens, Jazze Phae, Bobby V, RHOA Peter Thomas and other industry notables. The two were front and center to support the honoring of music icon and legend, Teddy Riley, and the reunion of Blackstreet.
Joseline was even spotted sporting a large diamond ring, on her engagement finger – these two are really showing up and showing out in the city. ATL Live on the Park Season 3, August edition, was a night to remember. See all the shocking photos…

The industry was thick as last night’s ATL Live on the Park monthly music showcase witnessed history in the making. Band mates Teddy Riley, Lenny Harold, Dave Hollister, Chauncey Black, and Tony Tyler re-united to perform some of their biggest hits from the 1990’s New Jack Swing era including “Before I Let You Goâ€, “No Diggity†and “Don’t Leave Meâ€. Before Blackstreet’s high-energy performance, Teddy Riley honored the crowd by performing some of his biggest hits he created for platinum-selling artists including Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Timeâ€, Guy’s “Let’s Chillâ€, Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative†and more.
Credited for the creation of the New Jack Swing era, Teddy Riley received the Icon Award from Devyne Stephens and his foundation Devyne Intervention, for his commitment to the entertainment community.
ASCAP and Devyne Stephen’s newest label, UM3G also presented performances by new artists Mishon, Amber Bullock, Brittnee Camelle, Saint Nick and Marques Anthony.
Lifestyle specialist, Kenny Burns pumped the crowd as DJ Trauma and the Teddy White Band kept the crowd on their feet. Last night’s performances proved why ATL Live on the Park is considered the city’s most anticipated music showcase.
Notables in attendance included Mayor Kasim Reed, LaTocha Scott (formerly of Xscape), Super producer Jazze Phae, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta reality stars, Stevie J and Joseline, Lisa Borders, women’s basketball team Atlanta Dream, comedian Rodney Perry, RHOA Peter Thomas, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Angel McCoughtry, Bobby V, “R&B Divasâ€Â Nicci Gilbert and Monifah and more.

Over the weekend one of the biggest kid fashion shows took place in ATL. The 2012 Runway RED invaded ZOO Atlanta with live animal encounters and a Dream Kids VIP suite up close in the panda exhibit with Lun Lun and Yang Yang (August 11, 2012) . All the mini- celebs children from the Atlanta community  rocked the runway in high-end fashion designers to raise money for Show Me the Way Foundation. There was also be a special performance by 16 year-old vocal sensation Nia Holloway (Big Lo Entertainment) who performed her new single, “Super Duper Fly.â€
The homie King and Major Harris, sons of Southern superstars T.I. and Tiny, also used their mini-stardom for a good cause. Tiny came out to support her boys…
The two youngsters recently appeared on CBS’ ‘Better Mornings’ to promote the upcoming Runway Red: Wonderland Safari fashion show.
The show was hosted by Cynthia Bailey from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,†and  Ebony Electra  the show was directed at young people to shed light on the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Sources said Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida may have moved out of their marital home and gotten an apartment of his own in Atlanta. As you can see the to are happily together…
