The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards are broadcasting live tonight, August 20, from New York‘s Radio City Music Hall. Below, check out a list of all of tonight’s award winners. The most-nominated artist was Cardi B, who got 12 nods. The Beyoncé and JAY-Z received eight nominations; Drake also got eight, and Childish Gambino got seven.

Teyana Taylor took quite a fall during a tour stop at the PlayStation Theater in New York City. In a video, obtained by TMZ, the K.T.S.E. creator is seen dancing on stage before she runs out of the room and slips off into the crowd. It isn’t long before she bounces back up to continue the performance though.

Regina Hall Gives Update On Girls Trip 2

One of 2017’s most notable summer theatrical successes was the Malcolm D. Lee-directed comedy Girls Trip, starring Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish. On a $20 million budget, Girls Trip ended up making over $140 million worldwide. Combined with the positive critical reception and numerous accolades, talk of a sequel understandably started popping up, and Hall recently said that Girls Trip 2 is still in the cards. The main obstacle in the way is scheduling among the four stars.

John recently sat down for an interview with the Today Show to discuss his breakout role in Spike Lee’s latest film, BlacKkKlansman, which is being met with great reviews. But during the introduction, he stopped his interviewer in his tracks when he was described as “the son of Denzel Washington,” without mentioning his mother, Pauletta.
