Cee Lo Green is the latest artist to pull out of a scheduled concert in Israel amid the country’s conflict with Gaza.
Check out the details below.
“The Hollywood Reporter” says Cee Lo has called off an August 19th concert in Jerusalem. Local concert promoter Carmi D. Wurtman said the Goodie Mob rapper and former “Voice” coach “really wanted to come.”
While he points out that it’s “not the right time to advertise” a show, Wurtman also says the Israeli Defense Forces won’t allow gatherings of more than one-thousand people. Cee Lo’s fans in Israel may not be out of luck. Wurtman is hoping the rapper will reschedule the concert in October or November.
Among the other acts who’ve called off shows in Israel during the country’s latest conflict are Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Paul Anka, the Backstreet Boys and Megadeth.
