Chad Johnson Charged With Battery And Pleads NOT GUILTY

Contributing Writer Sep 13 12 2 Comments

Yesterday, Chad Johnson, was officially charged with misdemeanor battery. This was after he allegedly headbutting his wife or soon to bed ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada. The argument had steamed from reciepts found of condoms purchased. This was filed with the State Attorney for Broward County, Florida.

According to TMZ, If Chad is charged guilty of the battery misdemeanor he could face up to a year in jail. On August 11th he was arrested for domestic violence when Evelyn called police because Chad had allegedly headbutted her after an argument.

The two haven’t even been married a few months and are already facing domestic violence and divorce papers. Evelyn filed divorce after the argument and “headbutting” where she stated that their marriage became “irretrievably broken.” While Evelyn is ready for divorce, Chad has gone to social networks such as twitter saying he won’t sign divorce papers and is still in love.

Chad’s attorney has entered his plea into Broward County Court early this morning as reported by TMZ. Chad was not with him, but he entered a “not guilty” plea to misdemeanor battery.

And the saga continues… What will happen next?

Come on really? This man was a known womanizer, abuser and role player and she married him anymore. I don’t condone what he did, just saying she should have seen it coming. Bad Chad!!! That’s what you teaching your daughters? It’s cool to be kicked and headbutted around like a football?

**correction** This man was a known womanizer, abuser and role player, yet she still married him anyway.
