It looks like Cuba Gooding, Jr. is off the hook. CNN says a female bartender who accused the Oscar winner of battery is dropping the charge against him. New Orleans police issued a warrant for Gooding’s arrest Tuesday after the woman said the actor shoved her when she told him to leave the Old Absinthe House in New Orleans’ French Quarter. Her request for his exit apparently came after Gooding got into a heated exchange with other bar patrons who wanted to take pictures with him. According to CNN, Gooding was presumed to be intoxicated at the time. The actor and his attorney met with New Orleans police Wednesday morning. Later in the day the bar’s management said the bartender chose to drop all charges. Gooding is in New Orleans filming the movie “The Butler.”
