Real Men Cook Atlanta was epic display of culinary delightfulness, celebration of fathers, and most importantly charity.

Real Men Cook Atlanta celebrated it’s 25th year of servicing and adding flavor to the community. This year the chairities that benefited from the savory event was the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals Summer Youth ACE Academy, Principles of Manhood After School Program at Sylvan Middle School and Real Men Charities, Inc.

Honorary Chairs include DeKalb School Supt. Michael Thurmond, Atlanta City Councilman Andre Dickens, Fulton County Commissioner John Eaves and R & B Musician/Singer Ellis Hall, and rapper David Banner.

Guests enjoyed live performances that ranged from a jazz set, to traditional African drumming to a soulful and spirit filled gospel medley. The event had several celebrity sightings including my girl from Married to Medicine Lisa Nicole Cloud and family.

Real Men Cook Atlanta is one of those events that make you feel good and want to do good. It’s also a time to discover those restaurants, kitchen cookers, and the best Atlanta has to offer.

I had a fine time serving as judge, networking with the community, snapping pictures, and most importantly supporting a worthwhile charity REAL MEN COOK ATLANTA!
