Chris Brown did his part to raise money for charity over the weekend. MTV News is reporting that the singer headlined “Virginia Stand Up! A Call To Action” on Saturday night. The event was held at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center, and generated money for relief efforts in Haiti.
Brown treated fans to hits from all three of his albums, including “Yo (Excuse Me Miss),” “Gimme That,” “Kiss Kiss,” and “Take You Down.” The vocalist closed out his set with a performance of his single “Forever,” thanking those in attendance for their support. “Virginia Stand Up! A Call To Action” — which took place in front of a packed house — also included performances from artists like T-Pain, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Mario, Tank and Ryan Leslie.
“Virginia Stand Up! A Call To Action” won’t count towards Chris Brown’s community service, which stems from his 2009 arrest for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He was in court for a progress hearing on May 6th, where the judge in the case said Brown was doing a good job with the terms of his sentence.

Nobody messed up CB’s career, CB messed up his career, there is no such thing as get over it, and he is human and he made a mistake. People are entitled to their opinions, they don’t have to get over it or STFU as his young immature stans are quoting. He did not make a mistake, he conducted a criminal act.
Now with all that said, people were willing to let him get on with his career until he, himself conducted ignorant, arrogant and unacceptable actions that further portrayed a negative image that he is a self entitled, to be “celebrated” singer.
He does not understand the consequences of his actions and has shown immaturity and stupidity in his rants and public displays of anger when at this time he should have been silently putting in the work to help garner a positive public image. Everytime he gains some leway he destroys any enrodes to that possibility.
Hopefully, he will mature and with help from the right PR team and correct management guidance, but that can only occur if he listens, gain his standing back in he public purveiw, ie record sales.
