The 2014 Soul Train Awards, hosted by Wendy Williams was taped on Friday night in Las Vegas and our boy Chris Breezy led the nominations.

The annual awards ceremony was taped Friday at Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena for air on BET and CENRTIC November 30th. Chris Brown led the pack of nominees with seven nods, including Best R&B/Soul Male Artist. Joining him in that category is Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Trey Songz, Tank and Kem. Chris’ hit “Loyal” also grabbed nominations for Song of the Year, Best Dance Performance, Best Collaboration and Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year. Behind Chris is Beyoncé with six nominations and Pharrell with five nods.
Hosted by Wendy Williams, the awards ceremony featured a star-studded lineup of performers. Chris Brown took the stage along with Jodeci, Aloe Blacc, Nico & Vinz, Tamar Braxton, Bobby Brown and Lisa Stansfield. The ceremony also featured a reunion between rappers Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and Da Brat, who performed their 1996 hit “Not Tonight.”
