Chris Brown is the latest celebrity to be “killed” off by the Internet. E! News says a rumor began spreading on Twitter Tuesday morning that the R&B star had died. The speculation even spread to YouTube.com, with several people saying “rest in peace” in the comments section of his videos. Chris has yet to come forward and shoot down the rumors of his death, but he did tweet out a photo of himself on Tuesday wearing a hooded sweatshirt in support of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin.
Chris Brown is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming album, “Fortune.” The record, which features his current single “Turn Up the Music,” will arrive in stores on May 8th.
Sources say Rihanna will join Brown onstage when he headlines the Supafest Music Festival in April, but I am hearing thats not the whole truth.
According to the report, “The controversial duet is believed to be in the works for the Supafest music festival on Saturday, April 14, in Brisbane.â€
The outlet quotes a supposed “U.S. source†as saying, “It’s a definite possibility. But it won’t be decided until the last minute.â€
A insider says Brown and Rihanna will perform in Australia because their reps urged them to have their first onstage reunion outside of America. That’s interesting, because Brown’s rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the Supafest duet rumor is “not true.â€
And another source close to the “Yeah 3x†singer observes that the music festival’s organizers are merely “trying to sell tickets†by hyping the false report.
