Chris Brown’s Community Service Hours Being Audited : Brown Used Fake Hours?

Prosecutors want to take a closer look at Chris Brown’s community service records. E! News reports Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Mary Murphy asked L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg for an accounting of the R&B singer’s service hours during Tuesday’s progress report hearing. Brown, who didn’t attend the hearing, is about halfway through the five years formal probation he was sentenced in 2009 after beating up his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The judge ordered a detailed audit of Brown’s service, and told his lawyers that Brown should appear in person at his next hearing.

Meanwhile, Brown released his fifth album, “Fortune,” last week. The set, which includes the lead single “Turn Up the Music,” is on track to debut at number one on this week’s Billboard 200.
