While at the 2012 BET Awards, Christina Milian sat down for a video interview with Houston’s 97.9 The Box.  The  singer/actress talked  about the recent happenings in her life from being the newly signed artist to Young Money/Cash Money to her calling out the father of her daughter producer and artist, The Dream aka Terius Nash for not spending time with their daughter Violet.  Watch the interview below.

On being signed to YMCMB:
I feel complete, music is my passion and it’s all about labels getting you. I feel like Wayne, Mack, Baby they get me and they are so solid when it comes to them supporting their team and artists on the label. I feel like I’m 18 getting a record deal for the first time.
On being dissapointed in The Dream not being apart of their daughters life:
I’m not happy at the moment, but I have come to the realization that I have to be 200% mom for her and it’s not about finances, it’s about spending time.
Not being a dramatic baby momma:
I’m not one of those who withhold their children from their baby daddy. Don’t do that….
On whether distance is a huge factor and if he even Skypes with their daughter:
We live in different cities, he’s in Atlanta and I’m in LA. There are planes and plenty of money for airplanes so..
as far as skyping: I’m just gonna leave it at that my daughter is a great kid and someday their will be a healthy man in my life that will love her the way I do.

This is what scares me about marriage and having kids. People are so happy in the beginning and it all crumbles. I am a product of a single parent home. My parents got divorced and my dad wasn’t there. I feel for that little girl because I was her and in a way I’m still her. I don’t know if I want to get married and if I do, I can’t stand the thought of bringing an innocent person into the world. If the marriage doesn’t work out it would hurt being a single parent. I rather be safe than sorry.
