Coolio’s son is learning a hard lesson about the consequences of living in “gangsta’s paradise.” TMZ says Grtis Ivey is heading to prison for at least three-and-a-half years for robbery. Ivey appeared on Coolio’s 2008 family reality show, “Coolio Rules.” He was arrested last November for his alleged involvement in a collaborative robbery incident with a prostitute. He’s accused of breaking into a Las Vegas apartment with a gun and forcing its occupant into the bathroom while his prostitute friend robbed the place.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Ivey agreed to plead guilty to a felony robbery charge last week in exchange for prosecutors dropping four other felony charges. He’ll serve a minimum of three-and-a-half years in prison and a maximum of ten when the judge formally hands down his sentence on September 12th.
