Coroner’s Office Receives Claims Of Houston Murder

Not everyone seems to be convinced that Whitney Houston’s death wasn’t a homicide. TMZ is citing sources who say the L.A. County Coroner’s Office has been receiving calls from people who believe that the pop icon was murdered. Many of the people in question have reportedly claimed to be relatives of Whitney or her ex-husband Bobby Brown. One person is said to have told authorities that they have a theory about a relative who may have killed Whitney, but they offered no evidence. An official with the Coroner’s Office says the investigation is ongoing, but would not elaborate further.

Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11th. An official cause of death has not been announced, but the Coroner’s Office has stated that there were no signs of foul play or trauma. Last week, E! News quoted insiders who said the death will officially be ruled an accident.
