This past weekend NBA stars Dwayne Wade and his friend and fellow teammate of the Miami Heat LeBron “King” James, joined many other celebs with their mini me’s to celebrate at the Nickelodeon World Wide Day of Play 2011 held in Washington, D.C. They were also joined by the casts of Nickelodeon’s iCarly, Big Time Rush and Victorious and thousands of kids and families as the children’s network hosts the biggest celebration of play in the history of the initiative.

Also on hand at Nickelodeon’s biggest celebration of play ever, will be more than 50 WWDOP partner organizations*–including Let’s Move! (Mrs. Obama’s initiative) President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, NFL Play 60, MLB, the National Park Service, National Park Foundation, Boys & and Girls Clubs of America, Kiwanis, National Wildlife Federation and National Environmental Education Foundation.

Celebs enjoyed fun with their children as well as many other fans. A very good look for Nickelodeon. Doesnt it look like fun?

Nickelodeon estimates that almost 50,000 kids and families joined them for the fun filled event that First Lady Michelle Obama made a surprise visit too.

What do you think of the First Lady’s efforts? What about Lebron and Dewayne Wade?
