Last week was a major ground breaking event that took place all in the name of Hip Hop sponsored by Craft Syndicates. I would have to say it was more than just sponsorship dollars kicked out; there were true relationships formed and collaborations that took place which I could see were truly life changing situations. Craft Syndicate has got to be the advocate of the statements “if you want something done right then do it right the first time, go hard or go home and you are only as big as your last grand event.

I’m not sure if Craft Syndicates is going to come out with R & B programs but newcomers Stefon Washington and Marquo Lastrappe are definitely upcoming #upNext type of artists for any lable to take a look at. Craft Syndicate is the brand that definitely put their money where their mouth is and partnered with industry vets like producer Don Cannon and media mogal Munson Steed to produce what I call one of the best events of the year in Hip Hop History. I’m going to let Enchanted PR’s press release break down the details:

WHAT: The hip-hop elite, celebrities, and top influencers recently joined Don Cannon and Craft Syndicate by Dutch Masters to celebrate the culmination of his project with who he calls a stand-out music producer with a unique captivating sound. Craft Syndicate is a social platform for creatives to engage and learn; the key driving force being a mentor ship program. Dutch Masters identifies today’s masters in music, film, fashion and art, pairs them with an aspiring creative, and funds an collaboration.

On Monday, July 24th the legendary Stankonia Studios, birthplace for Organized Noize, the Dungeon Family, Outkast and Ceelo Greene was the perfect backdrop for Craft Syndicate by Dutch Masters. Hosted by Love and Hip Hop star Yung Joc, the event highlighted performances by Lil Nuke, Spotlight, Ra Ra, Joe Gifted, Big Bank Black, Pee Wee the Long-Way, and Money Man before welcoming award-winning producer Don Cannon to the stage to introduce Koji the Bandit who was awarded the opportunity to be mentored by Don Cannon.

Craft Syndicate by Dutch Masters judges DJ Mars, KP Prather, and OG Parker were unanimously impressed with Koji the Bandit citing his unique use of samples and instrumentation as progressively refreshing. The highlight of the evening was the performance of the Koji the Bandit and Don Cannon collaborative track titled, “No Fear” featuring trap artist Lil Durk. Guests enjoyed vegan cuisine sponsored by Da Vegan Guru and hospitality provided by the Dutch Master models.

“I was immediately excited about working with Craft Syndicate. It’s about mentoring the younger generation and leaving a legacy. This is exactly the type of work I want to be doing,” Don Cannon shared with a packed house before introducing Koji the Bandit.

“When I saw Craft Syndicate post on Cannon’s page I immediately sent over some tracks. I’d always wanted to work with Don Cannon and then when I learned Lil Durk was going to be the featured artist, I was tripping. I’m beyond thankful to Craft Syndicate for creating this platform; it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from the collaboration but after I heard it, it was hot. I immediately wrote my verses, recorded it and sent it back to Cannon,” Lil Durk explained.

“Thank you to all of the artists, producers, DJs and Dutch Masters fans who came out to show their support for Craft Syndicate and Koji The Bandit,” said Sarah Krysalka, the marketing director for Dutch Masters. “I am grateful to have partners like Don Cannon, KP, DJ Mars and OG Parker who share the same vision as Dutch Masters, to share your craft and invest yourself in the masters of tomorrow.
