I’m lost for words as well. This indeed is a horrendous lost and unfortunate.. All the particulars on his situation is unclear but its very sad what he was going through martial with a younger woman. Don had to be in unspeakable pain to do this if only he would of called on GOD because it does get better. My condolences to his family and friends.

I am so sick of all of these judgmental hypocrites on all of these other blog sites kicking this man’s back in instead of remembering him for his legacy. How he chose to live his PERSONAL life was his PERSONAL business! That said, he was responsible for bringing something truly memorable to the world and it especially runs deeply with those of us who grew up in the 70′s & 80′s. Think about this….. what the world would have been like then (or be like NOW for that matter) without Soul Train? RIP Don. Thanks for the ride.

And we WILL be doing the Soul Train Line @ the club this weekend!..

MAY GOD WATCH AND BLESS THE CORNELIUS FAMILY THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT LOST TO PEOPLE EVERYWHERE.

  4. When I was we were young, Saturday would not BEGIN until “Soul Train” came around the air! I not really know what personal hell drove you to definitely take your personal life, Brother Don, but understand that you were–and always will be–loved and revered within my house FOREVER! Love, Peace, and SOUL!
