Dr. Dre Says Tupac Hologram Was Not Made For A Tour

Dr. Dre has some bad news for hip-hop fans hoping to see the Tupac Shakur hologram
out on tour. In a YouTube video shot just before his Coachella performance last Sunday night, the rap superstar reveals that the Tupac hologram “was not done for a tour.” Dr. Dre explains that the life-like image of Tupac was created solely with Coachella in mind. However, Dre didn’t completely close the door on taking Tupac on the road, adding “if a tour happens, we’ll see.”

It was previously reported that the company behind the Tupac hologram had been in discussions with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg about a possible tour. It was said that they were considering a large stadium tour that would also include artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Wiz Khalifa. They were also reportedly considering a smaller tour that would only feature Dre, Snoop and the image of Tupac.
