Staying true to the formula that made her famous, Wendy Williams definitely left no page un-turned when it came to interviewing Draya of ‘BBW: LA’.
The two chatted about Draya’s parenting, the number of basketball players she’s been with, the rumor that she was passed around to 3 different basketball players in 1 night, Â and of course the relationship with Chris Brown that made her famous.
Check out excerpts from the interview and the video below.
What was your career prior to the show?
I was modeling, mostly like doing videos and urban men magazines. You know the sexy kind of modeling.
How long did you date Chris Brown?
Chris and I were together for about nine months. That was definitely well after [Rihanna].
Was he still wounded?
I mean he was still touched by the situation. I kind of got him at a weak and vulnerable point I guess you could say. We really didn’t discuss her.
How was he as a boyfriend?
Great, a good boyfriend. All the rumors or whatever they have against him, I never witnessed any of that so I saw a different Chris Brown.
How many basketball players have you been with? Would you say you’ve dated over a dozen of basketball players?
Over a dozen, no way! To me dated is like we went on a date.
According to a rumor that circulated online, Draya slept with Gilbert Arenas and was passed on to two other players in the same night. Wendy, of course, wanted to know if the rumors were true:
On the rumor sleeping with three basketball players in one night
I would have millions by now if I were doing crazy, wild stuff like that. Kenyon [Martin], no I never dated him, he was just a friend of mine. Deshawn[Stevenson], I dated for a little while but the three basketball players…..I haven’t even been with three basketball players in the same month, let alone a day. I like to space them out a little bit.
Have you ever come close to marrying a basketball player?
No, that wasn’t something I was looking for. I haven’t dated a basketball player in over three years, so back then I wasn’t even looking for marriage. I was just kind of having fun.
Do you ever feel by putting your reputation out there like that no reasonable man would ever want to marry you and all you are is a trick?
I think that anything you do in your past can be cleaned up.
