Tonight I have learned so much when it comes to women and there health. Although there are more Caucasian women to be diagnosed with breast cancer, African American women are more likely to meet their demise to the deadly disease. In celebration of her 4 year survivorship, Ebony Steele hosted the Bare Chest for Breast Cancer Runway Event at 595 North.
Guests that arrived early where pleasured to attend the African Pride Gifting suite including token items from local and national vendors manicuring services, complimentary champagne and hor de overs finished with sweet dessert treats.
The all male runway featured designs from Ken Barber Signature, Shaka King New York, Kickboard Kouture, Lee Gregory and D&K Suit City. Attendees of the event included Musiq Soulchild, Cynthia Bailey (RHOA), Shawty Lo, Rickey Smiley (Comedian), Roger Bobb, Jamal Anderson (former Atlanta Falcon), OJ Santiago (former Atlanta Falcon), Charlene Bastien (National Director-Strengthen of Nature), Freddy Cameron (Georgia Entertainment Association), Marvin Montgomery (Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Hottest Bachelor in GA) and a host of Atlanta influencers. P.S. I didn’t know this was a all male runway show my girl Mz Shyneka set me up… LOL But I will say it was a great show for women who are those undercover freaks.
Vendors of the African Pride Gifting Suite included services and contributions from Treat Your Feet Massages, LAMIK, Atlanta Braves, Gorjez Faces, Terrance Terry, LUXE Nails, All Day Energy, E6 Energy, JF Lazartigue, Upscale Magazine, Dor’Nee Products, Cake Cafe Atlanta and Gloria the Cake Lady.
In addition, Bare Chest for Breast Cancer was proudly supported with effort from their VIP Host Committee Members whose names are: Charlene Bastien, VP for African Pride; Askia Fountain, CEO/Executive A&R Timeless Entertainment; April Love, Ask April Love; Autumn Bailey Ford, Executive Producer; Brian Short, Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist; Chef Jason Ellis, Social Cravings & FOX ; Hell’s Kitchen; Daniel & Shauna Wilcox, (former) NFL Player; Danielle Parks, Honey PR Management; Eddie Rhodman, Destined for Success Management; Erik Burton, PROFILE Marketing & PR; Freddie Cameron, VP Georgia Entertainment; J’Aimeka Jai Ferrell, The Jai Group, LLC; Jamal Anderson, (former) NFL player & Sports Analyst; Janae Veal, Personal trainer/NPC figure competitor/Breast Cancer Survivor; Jovita Moore, WSB-TV News Anchor; Lori Hall, Director of Entertainment Marketing – TBS, TCM, TNT; Monica Coleman, M320 Consulting; Nicole Garner, The Garner Circle PR; Olori Swank, Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist; Sheri Riley, Glue Inc; The J.
