Elton John is the latest musician that wants to dabble in the world of HIP HOP specifically RAP. The legendary singer sat down with Rolling Stone and share ideas about rap collaborations and dream producers.

When you think of RAP or HIP HOP you might not imagine the ARP; but Elton John is interested in making a little music. The 66-year-old music icon tells Rolling Stone that he would like to add elements of hip hop to his next album. He also hopes to work with some of rap’s top producers in the future. Elton John told Rolling Stone,

“I’d love to. I just don’t know how to do it. So for me I’d have to work with someone who knows about it, like Pharrell or Kanye who I respect tremendously. I’d love to do that.”

Looking over Elton John’s discography we should have guessed that the music legend would be interested in adding a bit of HIP HOP. Elton John was featured on Kanye’s All of the Lights along with several other uncredited artist.  In addition to working with Kanye he has also performed with Eminem at the 2001 Grammy Awards on the performance of “Stan.”
