I had the honor to sit down with the lovely ladies of Havok Jones for an exclusive interview about their hot new joint “Where You At” that hit stores today.  The quadruple force that is Havok Jones, uniquely comprised of Kea Aleis, MaiDai, Aire B. and Neiko, embodies the vocal ability of En Vogue, charisma of TLC, star power of Destiny’s Child and strength of Xscape. They dropped by my Tees & Quotes and talked a little music.

Ambitiously paired and given their name ‘Havok Jones’ by group creator and vocal coach Ms. Queen, the ladies quickly defined their new alias as

“Similar to the cliché, instead of keeping up with the Jones’, we wreak havoc on them. Since the Jones’ are the pinnacle of success, we want to over-achieve and surpass the standard – humbly.”

After sitting down with Havok Jones I see that they are the hot new thing for Atlanta. Back in the day girl groups reigned supreme but somewhere that has gotten lost in the shuffle. I am totally digging their flavor and how they getting ready to wrek HAVOK!
