Rappers Fabolous and Drake are on good terms again after Drake took a shot at Fab’s rap skills earlier this year in an interview with Rolling Stone. Check out the details below.
Rapper Fabolous tells MTV News that Drake apologized for comments he made in a February interview with “Rolling Stone.” The two were supposedly beefing after Drake made some interesting comments about Kanye’s Yeezus and suggesting even Fabolous wouldnt commit such crimes against bars in an interview earlier this year.
Drake mentioned Fab in a conversation about Kanye West’s Yeezus Album. The rapper stated,
“Drake says that he was ambivalent about Kanye’s last album, Yeezus. “There were some real questionable bars on there,” he says. “Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”
WOW that’s kind of harsh but Drake quickly went on a tirade about Rolling Stones taking his words out of context. Fabolous says that that any hard feelings between the two are now “under the bridge.” After the controversy, the two emcees crossed paths at a Jordan Brand event, where Drake explained that he was “disgusted” with how his words were twisted by the media. Fab also expressed his admiration for Drake, saying that he respects the rapper’s music.
Last week, Fabolous released his sixth album, “The Young OG Project.”
