Over the weekend we found out that pro boxer was released from a Las Vegas prison after only spending two months behind bars on a three-month sentence in a misdemeanor domestic battery case. Looks like someone is extra lucky!!!
Mayweather only served 30 days of his 90-day jail sentence because of work time and good behavior.
According to the Associated Press, he was joined by friends and family, including his BFF 50 Cent and his daughter Iyanna, when he emerged from the Clark County Detention Center after being locked away for the last two months:
Mayweather looked fit as he donned a leather Miami Heat cap, pulled a gray hooded sweatshirt over his head and shared hugs with about 20 family members and friends, including his 12-year-old daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, and his manager, Leonard Ellerbe.
He said nothing to the media as he got behind the wheel of a blue Bentley sedan with several friends inside, including rapper 50 Cent, and drove away.
Last year, Mayweather pled guilty to reduced domestic battery charges stemming from an incident in which he attacked his baby mama Josie Harris in front of their children.
Moments after his prison release Friday (Aug 3), Floyd posted a photo (above) of his chiseled physique on his Facebook page, to prove that jail didn’t ruin the athletic physique that helped him earn over $80 million last year, according to Forbes.
“Thanks for all the support and God Bless to everyone who wrote me,†Mayweather wrote to his 1.4 million subscribers on Facebook.
No word yet on when “Money Mayweather†will get back to boxing and who is next opponent will be.
