Chris Rock’s latest television project has found a home. “The Hollywood Reporter” says FX has ordered six episodes of a new late night series that Rock will be executive producing. The currently untitled show will star political comic W. Kamau Bell. The series will premiere this summer as a weekly half-hour show that looks at politics, race, sex, pop culture, media and religion. FX just recently picked up Russell Brand’s new late night series “Strangely Uplifting,” which is set to debut this spring. FX executive Nick Grad says they’re excited to be partners with both Rock and Brand, noting that their shows “put FX on really solid footing in the late-night arena.”
