Game’s ‘R.E.D.’ Album Takes #1 Spot From ‘Watch The Throne’

This week, Billboard charts show that The Game’s newest album R.E.D. has taken the #1 spot from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s album Watch The Throne. This comes as surprise to me with all of the hype that was surrounded around Watch The Throne! If memory serves me right, Game didn’t use half of the PR tactics that Jay-Z and Kanye did. Game’s last #1 album was back in 2007 with his album Doctor’s Advocate. Apparently people were waiting for this album because it has first week sales of 98,000. If I were Game, I would sit back and enjoy this album because I’m sure that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV  take the spot of #1. It’s been estimated that Wayne’s album will sell anywhere between 850,000 and 900, 000 copies. Have you listened to The Game’s newest album? Is it worthy of being #1?

He doesn’t get enough credit. The dude is actually talented. He reminds me of Cube when he first went solo. Great artist, but extremely underrated!
