Glen “Big Baby” Davis To Be Inducted Into the Athletic Hall of Fame at LSU 8/16



GlenDavisGlen “Big Baby” Davis must be having an awesome summer! Not only has Davis resigned to the clippers in July; on August 16th Glen “Big Baby” Davis, of the class of ’04 will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at LSU Foundation’s 15th-annual alumni recognition event. The 28-year-old free-agent forward has also played for Orlando and Boston, where he and current Clippers coach Doc Rivers won the NBA championship in 2008. Glen DavisThe celebration also honors John Hamilton of the Class of ‘81 as both will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. In July the Clipper signed former LSU standout Glen Davis, who was averaging 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 23 games last season, when he joined the Clippers at the end of February. A native of Baton Rouge, LA, Davis was reunited with Clippers head coach Doc Rivers last season on February 24, who coached him for four seasons in Boston and together were a part of the 2008 NBA Championship Celtics team. An eight-year NBA veteran, Davis has appeared in 440 career games (121 starts) with the Clippers, Orlando and Boston, averaging 8.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 22.6 minutes per game. Glen Davis has proven to be very consistent and loved by family and friends. Davis is an admiral athlete whom has never forgotten his family and will always be there for his mother and sisters.
