“Diddy” has enjoyed a long career in entertainment, but there’s still one job he would love to have. Diddy recently opened up to MTV News and admitted that he wants Simon Cowell’s seat on the “American Idol” judges panel, but only if the money’s right. He states, quote,
“I have been fronting all this time, trying to act like I don’t want that spot. [But] I spoke to Simon’s business manager, and I found out how much that boy makes a week. I am praying right now to ‘American Idol.'”
Legendary actress Betty White landed a gig hosting “Saturday Night Live” thanks to her fans on Facebook, and Diddy is hoping a similar type of movement can get him on “Idol.” He adds, quote, “I want everybody to get on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and say that Diddy should get the Simon spot – but for the same amount of money that Simon was getting, else it’s a deal-breaker.”
In January, Simon Cowell announced that the current season of “American Idol” will be his last he currently makes 37 million dollars a year from the show…. dammmm whay would he give it up. The show is currently down to its final two contestants — Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox. The winner will be announced next Wednesday. Diddy will be on the big screen next month in the comedy “Get Him to the Greek,” which opens June 4th. His next album, “Last Train to Paris,” drops June 29th. Do yall think Puffy will be to much of a diva for the show?
Diddy needs more people. Money hungry asshole wouldn’t piss on me if I were on fire so why would I plead with American Idol to give him more money. He is such a NARSISIST!
