The big homie Kanye West came through Atlanta and gave an amazing concert and a very candid sit down interview with the big homie over at V-103 Greg Street about music, fashion, and family.

Kanye West knows how to keep the buzz going. After making a huge splash at Phillips Arena for the Yeezus Show he stopped by V-103 and proclaimed that he’s going to be the “Obama of Clothing”. He spoke about working with Louis Vuitton and how not being able to work in their factory set him back a bit, but he plans to keep mastering his craft. He told Atlanta,

 “I want to be the first black person to go and design for Louis Vuitton consistently.”

Kanye West is full of ideas and genius. Kanye West plans on leveraging his influence in the black community to help him succeed and break barriers in fashion. Kanye said,

“Obama couldn’t have won without the black vote. I am going to use the power that we have to break through, to push those barriers that Michael [Jackson] had to break.”

One of Kanye’s most poignant remarks was,

“I might not be a billionaire, but I’m a trillionaire in relevancy.”

Kanye credits Micheal Jackson for his ambition but does not plan on following all of his steps. He says that he makes time for work and play. Kanye had the following to say,

“Jackson didn’t get to lay down with Kim Kardashian every night. He had to take whatever that was to relax. I be relaxed. I be happy.”
