Janet Jackson has finally surfaced. The track, entitled ‘Nothing’, was co-produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. The song serves as the first release from the soundtrack Jackson’s new movie, ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?”Janet has been named the headliner of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Her July 2nd performance will be her first concert since 2008 and since Michael passed away.
In other news Pop icon Janet Jackson is calling it quits after 28-years in the music business. Jackson signed her first recording contract with A&M records at the tender age of 16, releasing her self-titled album in 1982.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 43-year-old Diva disputed reports by ex-boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri, who claims he’s working on an album with her:

As for the second song, Jackson said she did it as a favor for Rodney Jerkins, for “fun.â€
I’m really glad that Janet is sounding like her old self on this record. I adore this song and play it over and over. It’s about time.
No where in the Rolling stone articledid it say Janet was Quitting Music. Can you read? she clearly states she doesnt know if she wants to do a pop or dance album, and that she doesnt know whether to release an album independent or with a Major record label.
