Jas Prince the man who discovered Drake is suing Drizzy’s management team for what he says they owe him.
Jas Prince has filed about ten claims against the firm Aspire Music Group LLC, which include managers Cortez Bryant, Gerald “Gee†Roberson, Derrick Lawrence.
As per eurweb.com
“Prince says he and Bryant agreed to split their share of Drake’s profits. Drake has since sold millions of records and won numerous awards,†reports CNS. “The parties allegedly tried to resolve their differences with a settlement agreement … They were to receive 22 percent of Aspire’s share of profits, 22 percent of Aspire’s ownership share of Drake’s master recordings, and 5 percent of Drake’s gross pay, according to the lawsuit.â€
The firm has not agreed to pay so Jas is trying to prevent the managers from renegotiating their contract with Drake until he gets paid. Â We’ll have more as this story unfolds.
This is the very reason why we as “ALLEGED BLACK BUSINESSMEN” need to read the fine print in a contract from the beginning, not near the end of someone else’s contract.
