Jason Russell, the co-founder of Invisible Children has been taken to hospital in San Diego, California, after he was found semi-naked and screaming at traffic.
His reps and wife, Danica Russell, insist his odd behavior was from “extreme exhaustion and dehydration,” and not stemming from alcohol or drug abuse.
Mrs. Russell’s statement read: “Let us say up front that Jason has never had a substance abuse or drinking problem, and this episode wasn’t caused by either of those things. But yes, he did some irrational things brought on by extreme exhaustion and dehydration.”
There are reportedly no current plans to charge Mr. Russell with any crimes.
