Rapper Jeezy is in hot water with the law after police found an illegal firearm in his tour bus.
Check out the details below.
The “Los Angeles Times” reports that Rapper Jeezy was one of five people arrested Sunday at the Verizon Amphitheatre in Irvine, California where Jeezy was slated to perform as part of Wiz Khalifa’s “Under the Influence of Music” tour. Jeezy’s tour bus was searched during the show and he did not perform.
Apparently, police found the weapon during an investigation into a deadly shooting that happened backstage as the tour stopped at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California Friday night. The shooting left 38-year-old Eric Johnson dead. Police say Sunday’s arrests were not connected with the shooting.
Jeezy is now in custody at the Orange County Jail with a $1 million bail.
The homicide investigation is ongoing and no one arrested has been charged in connection with Eric Johnson’s death.
