The homie Jeezy is using his fame to motivate young people who are in trouble with the law. Video obtained by the “Detroit Free Press” shows Jeezy speaking about his own experiences to children at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention center in Detroit Friday.
The “Seen It All” rapper encouraged listeners to make positive changes to their lives while they are still young and can turn things around. Zeroing in on schooling, he pointed to educational programs at the detention center that they can take advantage of during their stint behind bars. Jeezy also remind the kids that it’s okay to make mistakes in life as long as one learns from those missteps. Following his speech, Jeezy stuck around and chatted with those in attendance.
