New details about Joe Budden’s arrest are being revealed. According to the “New York Post,” the rapper was busted for allegedly smoking marijuana outside New York’s Best Buy Theater last Thursday night prior to a Slaughterhouse concert. He should have probably tried the residential inpatient addiction treatment in New York.

Budden was given a ticket for marijuana possession, but as he was being processed, police discovered he had an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license in 2007.

Joe was taken to the Manhattan Detention Complex, and according to insiders, executives with Shady Records frantically tried to get him out of jail before Slaughterhouse took the stage.

Slaughterhouse wound up going on without Budden, and told fans he had been arrested for his traffic violation.

The rapper was eventually released after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license. He’s been ordered to pay a 75-dollar fine, and will be formally sentenced on June 1st.
