Justin Timberlake is standing up for his fellow Disney star!
Miley Cyrus has been getting slammed since her controversial VMA performance, but Justin Timberlake wants everyone to cut her some slack.
In an interview with Jim Douglas on Fresh 102.7 in NYC Justin said:
“Listen, man, you know, it’s the VMAs. What did you guys expect? I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she’s young. She’s letting everybody know that she’s growing up. I just think it’s the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the Grammys. Let her do her thing, you know?”
In other Justin news, he’s gearing up for the release of his new album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, which drops September 30th.
Justin is also preparing to return to the stage for his “The 20/20 Experience World” tour, which starts October 31st. Do you think he’ll let Miley open for him?
