Kandi Burruss set the record straight about her being in a hospital and if she was suffering from a life threatening illness. The scary rumor originated on MediaTakeOut, which claimed that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after becoming ill. According to the site, Kandi’s condition was “serious”, and “her fiance and mother are by her side.” LOL…

Sources reports after becoming aware of the rumor, Kandi took to her Twitter page to assure her fans that she is doing okay.

“Hello everyone! I am fine. I do not have a life threatening illness & I am not at the hospital. I’m at home,” said Kandi. “Thanks for the concern tho!”

Kandi went on to call out the gossip site for getting everyone so worked up. “Everybody’s been calling worried about me because of mediatakeout,” she revealed. “Well I’m fine but it makes me feel good 2 know that y’all care!”

I was told although she did go to the hospital, everything is OK… so glade to here… I wonder was she just tired from working so hard on her new business?

For the past few weeks Kandi and her business partner Peaches Chin opened a new TAGS Boutique franchise store in Augusta, GA. The photos below are Kandi’s very first customers for the new store…

For months now Kandi and Peaches have been working to get things going for the new store. Just so you know, Augusta is a small city about 2 hours from were Kandi Lives now, this is also the third store the two own together. Co-Own Peaches told SR,

“We’re excited about opening our first Franchise store in Augusta Ga.”
