Kanye West is eyeing a fall release for the follow-up to 2013’s “Yeezus” and he shares the tricks he has learned from his wife Kim Kardashian.
Check out the details below.
In an interview with “GQ” magazine, Kanye West says his seventh album will “most likely” arrive in September 2014. Apparently, he had hoped to unleash the project in June, but got caught up working on his upcoming clothing line with Adidas, as well as spending time with his daughter, North West. Another reason the project has taken a little longer than expected is that he recently created a song that is “so good” that the rest of the album “has to be balanced against it.” While the album was filled with “beautiful” tracks, he describes his standout song as more of a club banger.
He opens up about the lessons he has learned from his wife Kim Kardashain. He calls them “Kim K skills.” Kanye shares,
“One of the reasons why I think that me and Kim are very powerful together isn’t just the concept of celebrity or this mega rap star and this mega-beautiful pop star. What I had to learn from Kim is how to take more of her advice and less of other people’s advice. There’s a lot of Kim K skills that were added. In order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period.”
Ahead of the album’s release, he plans to release a single called “All Day.”
Looks like the married life is doing wonders for both Kimye!
