Kanye West’s latest album, “Yeezus”, has debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200.

According to Billboard and Nielsen SoundScan, Kanye West’s “Yeezus” sold 327,000 copies in its first week which led the album to debut at number 1 on Billboard 200.
With the debut of “Yeezus” at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, this makes the sixth time that an album of Kanye West has debuted at number 1. The last album of West’s that debuted at number 1 on the Billboard chart was his collaborative effort with Jay-Z with their 2011 project “Watch the Throne”. Jay-Z is the only other rapper who has more number 1 albums than Kanye West with 12 albums debuting at the number 1 spot on the Billboard charts.
